Christmas is supposed to be the most wonderful time of the year yet so many people show their true colors around this spiritual holiday. Christmas is supposed to be the time of the year where you help our your neighbor and spread love and joy throughout yet most people take it to be the time of the year where you one up your neighbor and spread your bah-humbug spirit. Is it me or have people completely lost the true meaning of Christmas? This is the season for miracles, people! Anything can happen and instead of focusing on spreading love and cheer all most people are focused on is purchasing the perfect gift and making sure they get it before someone else they know. I just do not understand this type of thinking. I have always cherished my family year round but this time of the year was when my grandma loved to bring us even closer. Unfortunately, she is gone now and my family is slowly falling apart. I have seen a member of my family totally do my mom dirty and I honestly never thought they would do that to my mom.

Considering I have not blogged in a while, there is a lot to catch everyone up on. First off, I am currently blogging from my hubby’s and I new place! Yes, we finally decided it was time to spread our wings and get our own place, and I could not be any happier to have my own space in the world. Even though this means that we will not get to go out as often as we have in the past, it is well worth it.
We found us a nice two bedroom, two bathroom apartment that is literally two minutes from my school, ten minutes from hubby’s school, and eight minutes from my mom’s house. How could it get any better than that? Our landlord also allows us to have pets so we brought Jack and Cici along with us. I will definitely post pics of our new place since I am excited to show it off. Even though we moved in over Halloween weekend, we are still unpacking and decorating.
The Monday after Halloween Grayson came over and was sick so that distracted us from unpacking. Over the week, we had to give Grayson breathing treatments around the clock until his mom finally made him a doctor’s appointment on Friday. It turns out that Grayson has asthma and he had to have breathing treatments every three hours for the next twenty-four hours. I assumed he would go home since most moms would want their child home when they were sick, but nope, Grayson came back home with us. It turns out that his mom and her parents griped to have him home and cut our week short but once they found out about treatments every three hours for twenty-four hours they decided their sleep was more important. That is just ridiculous. Jonathan, my mom, and I all took turns giving him his treatment throughout the night. By morning he sounded a little better but was still wheezing when his mom decided to come pick him up. Not even two hours after she picked him up wheezing and all, she sent us a picture of him OUTSIDE playing. Can I also mention that it was in the 40′s and 50′s that day and very cold and windy? Your kid just spent the whole night having breathing treatments nonstop and you decide to take him outside? Am I the only one that has a problem with this? Geez, some people.
Anyways, I am going to end that subject now because it gets me really fired up. I also do not want my blog to turn into a Grayson-only blog but that seems to be the highlights of my days here lately. I had more I wanted to say but I need to print out my three papers I wrote for tonight’s class and get ready to leave for school. So, until next time, later loves!
